Child Protection Policy
BMBO has adopted, with their permission, the Child Protection Policy of British Orienteering.
All organisers should ensure they are up to date with the latest policy document.
The policy document is not onerous, organisers should not be put off by having to consider the issues and taking simple action if required.
Risk Assessment
The BMBO online Risk Assessment has two sections to complete with reference to Child Protection. They are:
1. That you have read and understand the current Child Protection Document.
2. That you have assessed your event, considered the risks and taken action as required in the policy document.
The policy document is not onerous, organisers should not be put off by having to consider the issues and taking simple action if required.
