BMBO holds an comprehensive Civil Liability Insurance policy both for event organisers and participating riders (third party).

All riders in all BMBO registered events are insured third party upon completion of the Risk Assessment by the organiser before the event.

This is 3rd party insurance for the event and riders. This policy has been tailored for the needs of this recreation and includes cover for damage to property, trespass, injury to third parties (other event riders in the event excluded).

Not covered by the insurance: If you are the cause of the accident the following is exluded, personal injury, personal property, event rider to event rider injury, event rider to event rider property.

We recommend that competitors take out their own personal insurance for 3rd party rider to rider cover, personal injury and personal insurance.

Incidents likely to bring about a claim must be reported on the finish line and recorded in an accident book.
