In the famous words of Delia..." where are you ? " Given that this was a National its a shame there was such a poor turn out for this fabulous event. All the hard work put in by the ( first time ) organisers paid off.. loads of route choices on fabulous trails with stunning scenery, even the weather was perfect. Those of who did make the effort and bothered to venture up to the Borders will remember this one for a long long time I am sure. Those of you who missed it missed out...yet again. So come on...lets support our organisers a bit more ! |

Yes Barbara and I wanted to do this event having been holidaying in April around that very same area. It is indeed very beautiful and I had pencilled this in to do but had to move our holiday back because we couldnt get the accomodation for the earlier week. Sorry to say we also wanted to do the Wark Forest event in September as we enjoyed the last one there (although we lost all our points, seems to be a regular occurance these days) but will be away again on holiday. Hope you get a good entry and the weather! |
