Selection Events 

Due to limited numbers of Elite athletes currently we would encourage interested people to get in touch with the selectors. We encourage athletes to take part in one of the international world ranking events or perhaps a world cup event, This will make it clear to all as to the standard required to race at this level.

In previous years "thresholds"  for domestic selection races were given to ensure that Elite althletes competing at a World level  were up to a standard required.

The thresholds for 2013 were:

"2013 -  the threshold will be 107%* of winners time for men and 115%* of winners time for women. (E.g. those wishing to be selected should be within these times in 3 out of 4 selection races – organisers will be awarded 2 of their second best results)"
