Website Manager & Si Manager Posts

BMBO is looking for a new website manager to begin the orderly transition of knowledge.
John Houlihan, having Chaired BMBO for 10 years and developed the management portal of the BMBO website, is stepping down from website manager as soon as a new website manager is found.
In order for the transition to work properly, the new website manager will work closely with John to gain in depth knowledge of the system structure. While this may sound complicated, the system has been developed to be used by non IT professionals and requires, at a user level, no coding experience. However, in order for the website manager to take system changes forward and to make system changes to structures such as membership, some IT knowledge would be advantageous, but no direct coding would be required since these are implemented by using database variables set in preference fields.
The ideal candidate would be:
An IT professional with coding experience ( any language).
Used to working with database structures and concepts in order to understand and develop the system.
HTML coding experience or ability to understand HTML in order to keep some simple Menu changes in house ( very simple).
Si Manager:
Current Si Manager John Johnson is re-locating to Italy and BMBO is therefore hoping that a new coordinator will step forward to relieve John of this task. Whilst John is continuing in the short term, we really need a volunteer to help with this logistical task.
There is a small monthly honorarium for each of the above roles. This is in line with BMBO volunteer payments policy to reflect your time contribution towards the ongoing management of BMBO.
If you think you have the required skills or a willingness to learn and would be keen to take on one or the other roles, please contact:
