AGM 2014

Wow, this year has flown by and the time is now upon us to hold the 2014 Annual General Meeting for British Mountain Bike Orienteering!
The AGM will be held on Saturday 8th November 2014 in the Hope Valley at Edale Youth Hostel starting at 4:00pm.
Dark and White will also be hosting round 2 of their winter series close by at Macclesfield, why not make a bit of a weekend of it and get some early points in for the 2015 season... Remember all events using SportIdent with a duration of 3 hours or over count towards your overall BMBO score!
At the AGM, the committee will be seeking to appoint a new chairperson. We would like a person with a passion for mountain bike orienteering as a figurehead and voice for our sport. BMBO have a stronger, larger committee with some very experienced members along with some new who are willing to help, support and bring new ideas in any way we can to make British Mountain Bike Orienteering larger and even more successful. If you would like to put yourself forward or nominate someone, please contact the General Secretary. We welcome and invite ALL BMBO members to nominate themselves or another.
We are always looking for volunteers to help and bring ideas ‘to the table.’ If you have any ideas whether big or small or would like to help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Remember Mountain Bike Orienteering is ‘YOUR’ sport, the committee are here to facilitate the direction the membership would like our sport to take. Any ideas you have will be greatly appreciated and included if possible and practical.
The AGM is open to current and past members. If you intend to come to the AGM please use the websites events calendar and ‘enter event’ just so we have an idea of numbers (it’s free!). If you can’t make it but would like to add anything, it would be greatly appreciated just drop an E-Mail to the general secretary and I will make sure it’s included in the AGM and noted in the minutes.
