The Team from Black Mountains MBO would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Cycling New Year.
2016 will mark the introduction of an Exciting New Mountain Bike Orienteering event format to the area. To keep your brain, eyes and legs in shape over the winter months we have elected to run 3 individual 2 hour events. Mapping will be OS based 1:20,000 and be held in Ancient Woodland and complex terrain on the Wales/England border. More details are available on the BMBO Website, events will be:
Sunday 24 January – The Forest of Dean - Near Coleford
Sunday 14 February – The Wye Valley - Near Monmouth
Sunday 27 March – The Wentwood - Near Newport
Online entry is now live on the BMBO Website, however entry is capped at 50 due to limitations with licencing, so get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.
The 2016 - 6 Event Score League will start with our first 3 ½ Hour Mountain Bike Adventure Event taking place on Sunday 10 April, starting in the village of Pandy near Abergavenny.
