MBO Score Final Placings

The final league table for 2018 MBO Score League has just been published. With an apparent tie at the top it went down to decimal places to sort out the winner. Congratulations to Ifor Powell for taking the final honours and commiserations to Graham Tibbott for just missing out and for providing an exciting finale to the season. Sheila Pearce had led the Women's race for most of the season but would have needed to win the last event outright by a considerable margin to fight off a late charge by Angela Brand-Barker. Sheila and Angela seem to be almost taking turns to win this trophy. Whose turn next year or is someone else going to challenge them for the title?
Finally congratulations to all of the class winners. remember that you needed to have completed at least seven events to be eligible.

The Prize giving will take place after the Woodhouse event on 25th November which will also be a counter in the 2019 league.
With no less than 5 events in November there is every opportunity to get the 2019 season off to a good start.
