National MTBO League 2019

The recent wet conditions in the Midlands left the event area on Cannock Chase pretty muddy and slippery. Despite this 36 six hardy souls went out to sample the delights of what was a new area to MTBO. A mixture of technical single track and forest roads proved a good challenge and produced some close results.
This being the last of the 2019 league meant that the prize giving followed soon after. Congratulations to Ian Nixon for his clean sweep in winning all of the events and retaining his trophy. In the women's race Charlie Somers Cocks did not have it all her own way but in the end beat off the challenge from Rachel Drew and Angela Brand-Barker to retain her trophy. Well done to both and all of the class winners.
The final league tables listing only those who have done enough events are attached and will appear on the Results events page in due course.
