Scottish Borders MTBO Bank Holiday Weekend
With the success of our 2022 Moray Spring Weekend it is now the turn of the Scottish
Borders to host the 2023 MTBO British Long and Middle Championships. As last year
there will be courses for all abilities both experienced and novice and even an e bikes
category.
Taking place in the world famous Tweed valley on Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st
May in conjunction with the Tweedlove Biking Festival in Peebles. Both competitions will
be held on new maps with the Long at Bowhill near Selkirk on Sunday planned by Paul
McGreal of Roxburgh Reivers and the Middle at Glentress on the Monday planned by
Keith Dawson for ESOC. The weekend promises some interesting courses in
challenging and beautiful terrain making the most of the complex track networks in both
areas. There will be new specially surveyed MTBO maps with the help of expert mapper
