Many thanks to Jane Robinson for organising another great event around Effingham in the Surrey Hills.

Following 6 weeks of frequent rain the area was fairly wet and muddy and had some flooded tracks too. Some parts of the course proved tricky to navigate particularly where there were lots of tracks on the ground and unexpected bends in the tracks. On the northern slopes of Ranmore Common there are very few East West connections so this area involved a lot of riding up and down the contours to collect the checkpoints.

Ifor Powell won overall with 507 points. Despite the wet and muddy conditions he only dropped two 10 pointers. Louise Oliver took the top spot for the women with 383 points and Adam Conway led the Youth category and was the overall 2 hour winner with 199 points.
