Event Report
A compass? When was the last time you had to use one in a BMBO event?
It did cross my mind before the event that navigating on Cleeve Hill might be challenging if the cloud was down, but I didn’t expect it. It certainly added a new dimension to the event.
Thank you all for turning up to the event, and entering early as this does make it more enjoyable to organise knowing there is going to be a good turnout. I was quite surprised how many of you went over Langley Hill at the North end of the map as there was quite a lot of elevation involved even without climbing Langley, and pleat of points without going so far North.
The glasses were handed in, they were found at a checkpoint so most likely one of you have lost them, PM me if they are yours.
And I believe the Urals conundrum to be true, but i guess you were thinking of other things on Cleeve Hill in the fog like “how on earth do you use this little thing with a needle spinning around inside” well done if you managed.
Once again thanks for coming and I hope you all enjoyed it.
