A BMBO member can login and register their club for free.

 

BMBO Payables by Organisers to BMBO

BMBO levy organisers in order to fund development of the sport. The levy forms part of our income together with Membership subscriptions and Day Rider surhcarges to cover running costs (marketing the sport to raise awareness, Web Site, BMBO Insurance, SI Kit, Committee expenses). Levy Fee & Day Rider surcharge

Adults:

BMBO Members;                  Levy payable

Day Riders;                           Levy payable plus the Day Rider surcharge payable.

 

Under 21's:

BMBO Under 21 Members;      No Levy

Under 21 Day Rider;                 No Levy & No Day Rider surcharge

 

How to charge these to competitors:

BMBO would appreciate it if ALL organisers display entry fees as a single cost.

i.e. a sum payable for the type of membership; for example:

BMBO Member £12,

Day Rider £13,

Under 21 Member £6

Under 21 Day Rider £6

There is no reason to refer to the BMBO Levy as an extra as it is a component of the event cost for all and not an extra. This is a financial settlement between organiser and BMBO.

BMBO charges organisers the levy, the organisers charge the riders an entry fee.

 

Under 21s are not charged the Day Rider surcharge as they could join BMBO as a member for free if they go to the BMBO web site to enter the event.

Please encourage all riders to either join BMBO as a member or to register on line as a Day Rider before all events. Ideally they will then enter on-line to completely cut down on admin on the day.

 

Payments

The Levies and Day Rider charges payable to BMBO are calculated using the online levy form after your event.

Sport Ident Kit Hire

SportIdent Hire;  There is a levy payable per rider for SI Kit hire. see current costs BMBO Fees

The SI hire fees covers you for the theft of control boxes (now £120 each), so you do not need to worry. BMBO will pay for shipping the SI Kit to another series. If transfering SI Kit between events within the same series this needs to be covered by the series organisers.
