Aims

British Mountain Bike Orienteering (BMBO) is the National Governing Body for Mountain Bike Orienteering in the UK. We promote & co-ordinate Mountain Bike Orienteering (MBO) events, organised by affiliated clubs, that involve mountain biking and navigation.

Events are designed to test both navigational and biking skills.

They provide an enjoyable recreational ride, with the level of challenge decided entirely by yourself.

The BMBO calender includes:

• the National Championship MBO Score weekend
• the National Championship MTBO weekend
• the National MBO Score series league
• the National MTBO points series league
• various regional leagues events
• a wide choice of non championship local events.
• Selection for International Competitions

Who

BMBO is run by fellow members for the membership and the sport. BMBO is a voluntary organisation relying on the good will of active members running events (Organisers) at a local level and committee members nationally.

All profits from BMBO are put back into the development and running of the sport. BMBO has no full time staff.
